Melon balls bring me right back to memories of summer family picnics. I usually make a fruit salad with a variety of fruits, yet a bowl of simple, pure ripe melons is a thing of beauty. You can fancy your melon medley up with some mint, feta and a splash of lime. How about inviting friends for a spontaneous potluck tonight?

Serves: 8


  • watermelon
  • honeydew melon
  • cantaloupe
  • Garnish: mint, finely chopped, feta crumbles , fresh lime juice



Cut melons in half and remove the seeds.


Using a melon baller, scoop the melon flesh into balls and arrange in a large bowl.


Garnish with mint, feta and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
