earl’s orange pecan scones

orange pecan scones, buttermilk

My husband’s uncle shared his orange pecan scones recipe with me after we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at their home. He has become the baker in their household, and is quite good. The scones disappeared quickly. A group of my friends request these scones every time we meet in the morning. They are pretty irresistible and worth the time it takes to prepare them. I mix the dry ingredients the night before so that I can put these in the oven in a short amount of morning time.

To make these vegan, substitute vegan butter and oat milk instead of real butter and buttermilk.
