dark and stormy cocktail

Two highball glasses filled with dark and stormy cocktails with a bottle of rum in the background, cards and dice foreground.

The barometer is falling and the wind is whistling through the rigging—it’s getting dark and stormy! Time to get back to the dock, rinse the salt off, and fold the sails before evening falls. Best to hunker down with a good book or perhaps propose a card game to your crew and bring out the dark rum. A Dark and Stormy is the perfect sipping drink to prime the pump for an evening of swapping sea stories. To properly prepare this drink, you float the rum on top to mimic a stormy sky. Enjoy the official drink of Bermuda.
