A hot toddy is typically a drink comprised of a shot of spirits, hot water, honey and spices. It is often served in an Irish whiskey mug. Living in small spaces pushes you to think outside of the box. Recently emptied canning jars will do the job quite well. This version enlists hot apple cider, a cinnamon stick and bourbon to take the chill off a blustery day. Kudos to Seattle Yacht Club for this new twist on an ancient idea.
